Christopher J. Schisani, Esq. serves as Of Counsel to The Elmazahi Firm, P.A. He is the founder and attorney-at-law of Schisani Law Firm, P.A. Mr. Schisani formed his own law firm at the age of 30. Before forming his own firm, he quickly became a partner at a high-profile criminal defense firm that was featured on Dr. Phil and other news outlets.
Mr. Schisani was born in Hoboken, New Jersey, before moving to Naples, Florida with his family. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and earned his Master of Science degree from the University of Central Florida. After obtaining his master’s degree, Mr. Schisani decided to pursue his passion for the law.
Mr. Schisani completed his final two years of law school at Barry University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree. During law school, he earned Book Awards for the highest grade in class in two courses and was invited onto the Law Review journal. He also served as a Senator for his school’s Student Bar Association and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
Mr. Schisani took the Florida Bar Exam in July 2018 and passed on his first attempt. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in September 2018. Soon thereafter, he began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney at the Office of the State Attorney in Orange County, Florida. As a prosecutor, he led trials and handled court proceedings. Before being recruited by Joshi Law Firm, P.A., Mr. Schisani served as a prosecutor from 2018 to 2019.
Mr. Schisani joined Joshi Law Firm, P.A. in June 2019. He became a partner at the firm in November 2020, when the firm transitioned to Joshi & Schisani Law Firm, P.A. In October 2021, Schisani Law Firm, P.A. was established.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Schisani has handled thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases in Florida. As a former prosecutor, he brings knowledge from the other side of the courtroom to evaluate the facts of each case and identify potential defenses.
Mr. Schisani is a proud member of The Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He brings additional trial perspective, criminal defense experience, and former-prosecutor insight to matters handled in collaboration with The Elmazahi Firm, P.A.
